#1 Wonder Of Life – Michael Maas

This is my first work as The Interpretalist. I was listening to some of Michael Maas’s music while writing a personal project and decided to start with one of his works. It inspired me to write something positive, tender and hopeful. Throughout the music, I felt the creation of something, the blossoming of a being. The difficulty for a being to come into the world, and the difficulty for parents to be able to welcome it at last after a long journey.

#2 Infinium – Ivan Torrent

It was impossible for me to miss Ivan Torrent. When I first listened to Infinium, I really felt like I was in the heavens. This music evokes serenity, infinity and the beauty of what lies beyond the clouds. Something divine emanates from this music, and the character is its representation.

#3 Vesper – Kisnou

I didn’t know Kisnou very well at the time, but it only took a few seconds for my imagination to conjure up an image in my head. The beauty and freshness of high mountains, leaves blowing in the wind. Liberation is evocative for me in this music.

#4 Void – Extra Terra & Infraction

I really enjoyed illustrating The Void’s musical performance. The rhythm is so driving and impressive. You can feel the incredible power and class. The Cyberpunk feel is of course completely conveyed here, and I felt as if I were on a stage protected by a deity from elsewhere.

#5 Quantum Field – RSM & Giantapes

Rarely does a piece of music grab you from start to finish, but Quantum Fields does. I quickly had images and an atmosphere in my head. Isolated in a place deep beneath the Earth’s surface, an entity lurks, idolized by a multitude of beings at its service. Morbidity, possession, the bloody, the controlling and the obscure were all terms I used to illustrate this incredible music, which made me feel a sense of unheard-of power on the part of the entity.

#6 Eternity Beyond Forever– Greg Dombrowski

The build-up to Greg Dombrowki’s music is very interesting. It begins gently, soothing us, but the tension takes us to a place unknown to mankind. Its dark depths reveal a secret judgment in the eyes of all ; the dead do not rest in peace in this place, they still have things to prove if they want to be able to move on to the next stage in the process of their eternity. This anguish disturbs us throughout this music, as a mystery still hovers in the remote places of our planet.
